We have stayed at the Aspens several times and we have always been happy. We have recommended the Aspens to family and friends. Our last stay was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival we immediately noticed that the unit was much more dated and grungy than the photos showed. We then went to the pool, which we have always enjoyed to find the water dirty. The clarity was so poor that I couldn't see my kids swimsuits as the visibility was only about a foot. The pool deck was dirty. There were used Kleenexes laying on the ground with what appeared to be feces on them. There was clumps of dirt which then turned to mud when wet kids walked over the clumps of dirt. Several of the chairs were broken. My husband voiced his concern about the pool cleanliness with the front desk staff. I called Blackcomb Peaks to voice my concern. The women that I spoke with was nice. She explained that new pool chairs were ordered and on the way and she would tell maintenance about the pool conditions. She asked if the unit was dirty, I explained that I had already cleaned someone else's hair out of the bathtub (before my kids questioned what kind of hair it was). She did offer a 15% discount during our next stay. What I didn't tell her is that was a nice offer, however, not helpful to us as we wouldn't be returning. After speaking with her we continued to find more evidence of the condo being dirty. There was left behind food wrappers under the beds, the master bathroom grout was moldy, the shower curtain was dirty, under the kitchen sink was visibly dirty with left behind food, there was a blood stain on the master sheets, there was grime and dirt along all of the trim and several walls (especially the main bathroom wall under the towel rack). A few days later we went out onto the patio for the first time to find what appeared to be dried up vomit from the last guest. The barbecue also appeared to be broken so we didn't even try to use it, especially since the balcony deck was covered in some type of vomit like substance. The hot tub in the work out room area was extremely loud as something was not working right with one of the pumps. As you can imagine, we were less than happy about the condition of the condo and pool area. In fact, we left a day early simply because we didn't want to be in the condo another night. We will not be staying at the Aspens again nor will we continue recommending it to family and friends.

1 Hot tub was broken and the one by the pool was not hot. Was disappointed in that. The sheets were not fresh smelling. Location of the apartment was fabulous. We liked having bike racks outside that were super accessible for my boys.

Have stayed at the Aspens a number of time and enjoyed it once again. Would have been nice if the WiFi worked better. Bummer that one of the hot tubs was out of order Have always wished the parking garage was taller too. Overall the Aspens is great.

Very Nice Place to stay, but

We enjoyed our stay in this condo in every respect. It is ski on/off. The ski valet was fine. We didn't use the pools but they are there. The room was in excellent condition with one exception., both bathrooms could use a snake job by a plumber so the drains work better. The kitchen had adequate untensils and there is a grill if you are so inclined to cook while skiing. We are not, so we enjoyed the short walk to the Upper Village and the 7 to 10 minute walk to the Lower Village. We would stay here again.

Comfy apartment

The apartment was comfortable and warm with all necessary amenities. We had hoped to be in an apartment next door, or close by our travelling companions (Mansell family)but we had to go to a different floor to access them. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Strongly recommend they repair tile floor in master bath, it has sharp edges and it is not conducive to bare feet. Other than that, interior was average and seemed moderately maintained. Tight quarters for 6 adults/3 couples. Could fit more, but we ate in most meals and it was a small space for that many adults. Hot tub situation at the Aspens was poor throughout visit with an average of just one of the three working at any given time, and the pool just 2/7 days.

Very good location. Clean, well maintained, well equipped. Wireless internet was a booking pre-requisite and it worked well. (A problem with the router on day 3 was immediately fixed after reporting the issue. Thanks for the fast help.)<br/>"Excercise room" - needs improvement as the cross steppers did not work at all and repair was not carried out 2 days later after reporting to the building reception. <br/>Despite this small hick-up we'd definitely consider the same apartment for our next skiing holiday at Whistler.

Great place to stay, just park the car and no need to take it out till you leave again. True ski in and ski out, right on blackcomb face click the board on ride to the bottom then up on the lift for the day. Great hot tubs and pools for after a tough day on the hill, easy walk to the village for some food, drinks, great pubs and night clubs.

Aspens 242 was a great place for our group of friends and family to enjoy Whistler. We could ski in ski out, enjoy the hot tub and walk to all of the bars and restaurants in the village. I would recommend it to others looking for ski get away in Whistler.

Convenient location but relaxed enough for a younger family. Good space and warm rooms. Wifi was excellent and all the taxi drivers knew where it was! Lots of hooks for drying stuff and easy access to laundry facilities

The location was about as good as it gets and the facilities were great with a very nice staff. My buddies and I skied right down to the lifts every morning so nice not having carry your gear everywhere. Also it was just a nice short walk<br/>To the village. I was very impressed and would love to stay there again

We enjoyed our time at the aspens. The checkin process was easy and the condo was close to the blackcomb base and a short walk to the main base. We were there in the summer but this would be an amazing place in the winter. Truly ski in / ski out.

We have 4 children, two of whom are in college. We were very comfortable. Very convenient to just walk out and you are on the slopes. The only complaint I have is there could have been a few more utensils and pots/pans for cooking. Otherwise we had a great stay. Thanks.

Stayed in quite a few Aspens suites. This was overall a good one. If it is not freezing outside ( it wasn't during our stay ) then melting snow dripping on to the roof just outside the second bedroom very annoying.constant drip drip disturbed the kid's sleep. Extractor fans running in suite below also annoying. Why are they not all on timers?

it was a pleasant stay. My sister and I discussed how we would rate it and both came up with 7 out of 10. There was NO air conditioning and we went to Whistler when it was very very hot. Hard to sleep at night due to heat and no cool air in hotel. Pool was nice but nobody there to remove bugs and debris from water...kinda gross but still nice pool. Convenient location great staff we booked thru.

Blackcomb Accomodations made it easy for travelers with a plethora of information online to find and access the condo. I have never been to Whistler before and the instructions provided made it easy to locate the condo complex. And no key was needed as the doors are secured with a lock with simply requires a code to enter. <br/>The condo was clean, well-stocked, and in a good location in the Upper Village. The balcony was a great place to relax and take in the scenery with a a cup of coffee in hand. It was a little warm in the condo as there is no air conditioning and Whistler was enduring one of their brief heat spells. I didn't mind it because I'm used to the heat, but I heard others complaining that the rooms were too hot for them.<br/>The kitchen was decently well-stocked with the necessities, and everything was very clean. <br/>I would happily stay here again.

I came with 6 friends to stay here for 4 nights and we all loved the Aspens and Blackcomb Peaks. The ski in/out location under the Wizard was perfect, and it was great staying at Blackcomb instead of the busy side of Whistler Village. The 3 hot tubs were huge, the Summit ski shop in the building was really handy, and everyone we dealt with was really friendly and helpful. It didn't hurt that we got 2 feet of snow the weekend we were there. Thank you!

We had a group of 8 stay at this property on the weekend of Dec 20-23. Reservation process was straight forward and smooth, and also included detailed check-in procedures upon arrival.<br/><br/>Upon arriving, there was no hassle whatsoever. Pulled up to the Aspens, purchased overnight parking for our stay, unloaded our belongings and headed straight to our room.<br/><br/>Room was decent and well-sized, maybe a bit small for our group of 8 but we certainly did not mind being close and cozy. However..<br/>1. We opened the sofa bed and realized that one of the legs was broken. We immediately tried to contact the desk, but none of the phones in our room worked. We had to contact the desk on our way down to obtain our rentals, in which they told us to contact maintenance. No problem, we did and they were prompt in coming up and even replaced the whole bed in a timeless manner. They also took a look at our phones and informed us they would get back to us (unfortunately they didn’t, but we didn’t really need the phones so it wasn’t a big issue). <br/>2. The toilet in the washroom closest to the front door clogged after the first use and we tried several attempts to unclog it ourselves, but to no avail. We felt it was too late to contact maintenance (again) and it could wait until the morning.<br/>3. The shower handle/temperature control in the washroom of the king size room was jammed and could never fully turn to adjust to hot water. We basically had to settle for lukewarm showers. We essentially had one washroom with a working shower, and one with a working toilet (the door also does not lock in that washroom).<br/><br/>Even with some hiccups throughout our stay, I think I can speak on behalf of the group that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aspens #242. I cannot stress how great the location was, as it was just a couple minutes walk from the ski valet to the slopes. Hopefully your team will be able to take a look at the existing problems and have them resolved fo

Everything worked on arrival- information was great with the Blackcomb Accomodations app. All the information was readily available and worked the 1st time.<br/>Roy (maintenance/property mgr) was on top of all issues including getting a minor lightbulb replaced immediately. Overall, a GREAT experience in one of our favorite destinations!

This is a good property and a good location but needs a bit of attention. The kitchen is very poorly supplied. (ie only 4 dinner plates, 3 cereal bowls, no sharp knives, no salad or mixing and few serving bowls.) The blinds were all broken and there were burnt out lights. Overall small irritations that added up.
