This third floor, 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom unit is located in the Aspens Lodge on the slope side of Blackcomb Mountain. It features a cozy living room with gas fireplace, lovely art work, patio with BBQ and a peaceful forest view. The lodge common pool and three hot tubs offer the perfect après ski body & soul recovery. For those who want to treat themselves, a nice variety of eat-out options are available in the Upper village, just a short 5 min walk down the ski hill, alongside the Upper Village Blackcomb Gondola (formally the Wizard Express).

Loved our Whistler Stay

This was our first stay at the Aspens and we loved it. This is the perfect spot for a family. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basic essentials we needed to prepare meals. The unit was basic but clean and had everything we needed to make our week a memorable time. The ski in-ski out can't be beat. The pool and hot tub could have been warmer, but the kids didn't seem to mind. We will be back for sure.

A few things missing

I have stayed in the Aspens regularly for years and use the Blackcomb Peaks service. The whole booking and checkin service is great and functions well. A couple of things with the unit were a problem. I understand how the fireplaces work typically but I could not figure this one out. there didn't appear to be any with or timer adjacent to the fireplace and while there was some sort of thermostat (I think) it didn't do anything no matter how much I played with it. Secondly, there was a thermostat for the bedroom which functioned fine, I couldn't find one in the main area resulting in a cold living area and warm bedroom. From a technology perspective the TV cable could be upgraded a bit to have more selection and the sound system could be modernized beyond CDs.

Peaceful condo

What a place! Beautiful view of the alpine trees and cozy family room. We absolutely loved the ski in, ski out accessibility. The only issue with the place was that the fireplace never turned on, it must have been because the pilot light was off, but we could not find it to turn it on. Otherwise their heating system worked perfectly ok! We would definitely come back!

The Aspens has a great ski-in ski-out location at the base of Blackcomb mountain. The hot tubs have some of the most powerful jets I've experienced. The ski valet is a great asset. Some negatives regarding the facility is the sub par fitness room and the anoying paid parking machine. Parking should be included, but if they're going to charge extra, I'd prefer it be part of the overall room fee. Unit 315 has a great wooded view of the Chetau Whistler. It's nicely furnished and comfortable. The kitchen has just the minimum items. Some placemats and a few herbs and spices would have been nice. Be careful cooking as it appeared just boiling water for pasta set off the smoke detector.

As for the spices, we do not offer these for health & safety reasons, however, we provide some packages of coffee, tea, sugar and creamers to help you get started. Great location! Christine very helpful.. I don’t know why booking.com would not pay them until we arrived? Seems like they should have when reservation was made. Otherwise we highly recommend it!

Comfortable unit except chairs are very uncomfortable. Need cushions on dining chairs. Staff are very accommodating and try hard to please. Perfect for ski-in/out and walk to village is pleasant or bus is nearby. The Keg in Whistler Village is awesome but very busy and need reservations.<br/>Great idea to have everything standardized, we know what to expect in another unit. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends.

We stayed at this accommodation before and we like the location, above anything else, very much. <br/><br/>Ski in and ski out is one of the true benefits at this location. <br/><br/>Also we use the whirlpool most of the time. We generally meet people from around the world and we enjoy talking to them very much.<br/><br/>
