Description

This second floor, 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit is located in the Aspens Lodge on the slope side of Blackcomb Mountain. It features a cozy living area with gas fire place and a patio with BBQs. The lodge common pool and three hot tubs offer the perfect après ski body & soul recovery. For those who want to treat themselves, a nice variety of eat-out options are available in the Upper village, just a short 5 min walk down the ski hill, alongside the Wizard Express Chair.

We enjoyed our stay at Blackcomb. The condo was comfortable but could have done with a warming radiator to be able to dry clothes/gloves etc. It was in a good position for skiing and the villages and we would return again. Perhaps somewhere to store boots in a drying room would be good.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Very clean and comfortable room. The location couldn't have been better. Great access to the slopes and an easy walk to the upper village and not too far to the main village, we walked there daily. I highly reccomend the Aspens. This was our first visit to Whistler and next time we stay it will be here. My only complaint is that the hot tubs could be cleaner but everything else was perfect.

Very noisy location

This particular unit faces the lodge entrance, which has a high turnover of guest and service vehicles driving back and forth. Having said that, we manage over 50 suites at the Aspens, distributed throughout the 5 floors. Thus we can offer many quieter options. We encourage guests to either inquire over the phone before booking about the suite locations or to view full unit descriptions on our website. Regardless of this, we do hope you had a great time in Whistler as you could not have picked a better time to come here. The snow has not stopped falling. This place was Fantastic loved every minute of our stay here, The place was super clean great rooms and friendly staff and what a location would highly recommend to others thinking about where to stay in Whistler Mountain. We can't wait to return as so much to see and do.

Toilet was not flushing properly. The maintenance manager, Dave instead of apologizing for this issue threatened us to charge $75. <br/><br/>There are warning signs all over the resort of penalties if you 'do this' or don't do that'. Doesn't feel that we are relaxed on vacation.<br/><br/>If you book the room through website....you will not get proper service. If you have questions front desk will not properly reply. They will say , "call the phone # on website". They are different company!!

Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback on your recent stay. We are truly sorry that it did not meet your expectations. As outlined in our check in information, the front desk at the Aspens is indeed managed by a different company. They are usually great at providing general building information to all guests as well as Blackcomb Peaks 24 hr contact information. We will follow up on your comments to ensure that this process runs more smoothly in the future. The signs, regarding fines for having bikes or skis in the elevators, are a common occurrence in Whistler. These policies are in place to prevent damage to the building and keep it looking nice for all guests. Regarding the toilet, you advised us that it had clogged and we had a plumber there within an hour to fix it. In spite of his insistence that it was caused by the guest in house, we took you at your word and did not charge you for the call out. We do apologize if there was any miscommunication from our staff regarding how this would be handled. Sincerely, The Blackcomb Peaks team

This is our third stay the the Aspens and we will not rent this unit again. It was okay, just okay. <br/>When we walked in the room it smelt stale and dirty, and the carpet is dirty. My wife wore her flip flops the whole time. There is a stain in the Master Bedroom the size of a small dinner plate, that is just disgusting looking. We had to buy a bottle of Febreeze to spray on the couches, they stunk!<br/>The unit is basic, especially compared to the other two we have stayed in. Very basic and quite clearly just for income, which is okay, but not up to what we thought we were paying for. The toilet paper and paper towel are the cheapest one ply you can get. The beds, towels and linens were quality and nice, thankfully!<br/>We would not rent this unit nor recommend it to anyone. We love the Aspens, and were disappointed in this one.

Very comfortable apartment, close to the slopes and a short walk to the villages of Blackcomb and Whistler. Clean and warm with all essentials. We didn't use the pool or hot tubs as they were very busy at the times we wanted to go in. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect, 5 min walk from downtown and right on the hill. The spas were clean and the condo was clean and had what you needed for cooking and relaxing.

We Loved the ski in and out, used the hot tub a lot. Need a working corkscrew for the unit, lucky we had one with us. :) Would rent it again.
