As usual Blackcomb Peaks and the Aspens delivered “TheGoods”! We had a great stay in 209 and the snow gods delivered 5days of fresh snow and 5days of “Bluebird” conditions. So happy to be back after a 2 year hiatus, due to the Pandemic and general global freak out. Thanks for being there for us Put us down for the same room same time in 2023. We stay at the Aspens all the time and only rent with Blackcomb Peaks. The room was great and the customer service team is exceptional. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and great to deal with and they were very accommodating to our requests.

This unit is lovely, well furnished, clean & well maintained. The king sized bed is so comfortable, we had the best sleep. The location is perfect. We have stayed here before and are never disappointed.

We always stay in this unit & will continue to come back. Love the location and ease of access to the outside and parking stalls via the stairwell. However, they need a blender. Its a basic kitchen appliance that should be in all units. The cleaning around the base of the couch could have been done better. Didnt look like that area was vacuumed too well. Also wish they would get rid of that pillow top on the bed. Not good for anyone with a bad back which is likely most people.

Very nice accommodation, with all facilities as described. The only downside is the lack of noise control around the hot tubs area. Even though it is quoted in various places that the Aspens quiet time starts at 10 pm (and the hot tubs should close then), we had to phone down to reception on 2 occasions as people were still partying at close to 10:30.

We enjoyed our stay at the Aspens. The suite had everything we needed, including extras like paper towel and food wrap. Access to the common areas is by code, instead of the fobs, which we appreciated. We will certainly book 209 next time we’re in Whistler. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay in appt 209 - very spacious and comfortable - best bed of the holiday (8 different beds) - super location - only issue is check in which was a little confusing - we would have expected the desk to have some knowledge that we were staying

As the front desk is hosted by a separate company they are obligated to assist all guests despite the company they are booked with. If all else fails our hotline comes directly to our office staff and we would have happily met you in the lobby to assist in any details you had issues with upon check in or during your stay. We are glad you enjoyed your time in 209 despite the hiccup in check in.

Brilliant as always. Such a great place with easy access to slopes and village. We have had at least 6 visits and will be back. The bed is amazing - the best ever - would ship it home if I could!

Fabulous Stay

We had an amazing stay at Aspens 209 in Late Dec 2018 to Early Jan 2019 (10 nights). We are a family of 4 (2 adults and two daughters aged 6 and 10) and this apartment was the perfect size for us.The location was fabulous and our girls loved the Blackcomb Ski Camp and the restaurants in Blackcomb. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

We have stayed at the Aspens many times and in this unit 3 times. I would highly recommend unit 209. It is very clean, well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Excellent storage and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Balcony is nice with a great view of the base of Blackcomb. The Aspens is only a 5 min walk to the village. My only complaint is that the bed could be replaced. It was fine for me but my 6 ft 1 and 215 lb husband found it a bit too soft.

Slopeside Suite!

Aspens 209 has a different layout than most Aspens 1 beds which was a nice change. As usual with Blackcomb Peaks managed suites, it had everything we needed (though oddly no bbq, which was not really missed but there usually is one) and was very comfortable with lots of very homey touches. Best thing - watching people skiing/riding down the slope before you go out! Worst thing - watching people skiing/riding down eh slope on the day you have to leave!

Comfort and Convenience

We were very happy with our stay in Aspens 209. It was comfortably furnished and had everything we needed. It's all the way at the end of the hall from the elevators, but that makes it quieter and closer to the mountain and the path into the village (if you take the stairs.) Also close to the hot tub, which is nice if you want to use it. We wanted a ski-in/ski-out location and enjoyed being able to quickly pop down to the lift after retrieving our skis from the ski valet. And it was easy to stop back for a mid-day break. All the staff at Aspens couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful.

The view is wonderful. Ski in ski out access is very easy. New appliances in the condo are nice. The only negative is the faucets are loose and it takes a long time to get hot water to the shower and kitchen sink.

Pool closed. Hot water issues.

A big part of why we stay here is to use the swimming pool. The pool was closed for maintenance and Blackcomb peaks claimed they were not aware of this. They have people working on-site so I found this hard to believe. We also had issues with hot water. Every morning I had to turn on all the faucets and run them for a good 15 minutes before I got any hot water. We also didn't like that this suite was right in the path of the industrial dryer vent. This being said this is the second time that we have stayed here and we really like it. The location is great very quiet. I do recommend staying here but they really have to improve their communication with clients.

Our handyman and Strata came up to your unit as soon as this problem was reported, which was after your first night, and they both confirmed that there was hot water running in the end. It is unfortunate that it takes longer for hot water to kick in during quiet times as in October when the occupancy is very low. To be frank, there is not much we can do about this inconvenience, although we would love to as we understand how frustrating this must be. As of the pool closure, we were aware of the initial time period yet nobody knew for sure when the works would be complete since there were some unforeseen issues arising along the way. The Aspens Strata does their best to keep the pool facilities well maintained and these tasks usually take place every fall before the busy winter season starts. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience Brian. Regardless of these issues, we are happy you found the Aspens location quiet and we would love to be able to serve you again in the future. We always encourage guests to call our toll free before booking to discuss various unit locations as there are differences in views and furnishing. Despite waking in full view of the chairlift and therefore feeling very pressured to get out of the super-comfy king size bed and hit the slopes, this place seemed to have it all! After two nights of overheating, we finally worked out the thermostat, but could have done with a change of sheets once in the 9 nights...and not at the rumoured $15 rate! Thanks - great place for a special xmas together.

Property had all the amenities with a great location by the slopes. Pool was closed during the stay, but both hot tubs were working. Ski valet is very convenient.

Although the location was great, we found the unit to lack a few things. Why a king size bed in such a small bedroom? This made it impossible to use the other side of the closet. How come there was no dresser for our clothes, we had to put them in a nightstand and on a closet shelf.

Clean, comfortable unit. The views are wonderful and faces the Wizard Express lifts, but still quiet, especially at night. The tub in the bathroom is nice and deep for soaking as well. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking if you prefer to stay in. Great location, just a quick walk to catch the bus to the village. Would definitely stay here again.

The condo was great, the location in the upper village was perfect, with ski in/out even in late april, right by blackcomb village and a pleasant short walk through the park and streams to Whistler village. Blackcombpeak team's customer service was superb!

I have stayed at the Aspens many times before. This was the best experience so far. In fact, I booked this unit again in August. <br/>The room, was very quiet, beautiful view, lovely balcony, clean and spacious. <br/>Air conditioning unit was installed while we were there and that really helped. <br/>We zip lined, and took the peak to peak Gondola. Both incredible experiences. The Aspens is only a 7 min walk to the village and just down a short hill to Blackcomb where there are a number of restaurants and family activities. <br/>I would highly recommend booking this unit.

Best unit I have stayed in, in the Aspens but the general condition of the unit was somewhat deteriorated, broken or bent blinds and generally due for a makeover. These units are very practical and functional, generally with all of the amenities you want. Blackcomb Peaks management was excellent.

The Aspens is a great place to stay when skiing at Whistler Blackcomb. The proximity to the hill makes for easy end of day, and the short schlep up the hill is manageable with groceries. <br/>Unit 209 offers a spacious layout and great views of the hill. My key markers of a good condo rental are the condition of the mattress, knives and frypans (what can I say, I'm a domestic princess). This unit had a great mattress, sharp knives and somewhat wobbly frypans, BUT also housed a martini shaker and martini glasses! I like the owners already...<br/>I would highly recommend this unit and will be back.

Very good vacation and happy with unit. Would avoid going the week the bike races were on next time though as there was rude partiers in the hot tub and broken glass in the pool.
